Yellow Squash Recipes Grilled

Grilled yellow squash, or summer squash, is an easy healthy summer side dish recipe that takes minutes to cook on the grill. Plus, it adds a pop of color to any dish.

Place yellow squash and zucchini on a square of aluminum foil;

Yellow squash recipes grilled. (really, lots of veggies would work with this method). Add the squash, zucchini, onions and garlic. Combine first 6 ingredients in a large bowl.

Grill cut side down 7 minutes. Place it in a bowl and mix it with the olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, kosher salt, and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook over medium heat until the garlic starts to sizzle and become fragrant.

Pat dry with paper towel. Place squash on grill rack coated with cooking spray; Sprinkle with lemon zest, lemon juice, and butter.

Toss the squash with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Yellow squash, which is sometimes known as summer squash, is a great substitution for zucchini. Cook, stirring frequently, for 6 to 8 minutes, or until the slices are nicely browned.

Slice the squash on the bias, about 1/2” thick. (my favorite blend is organic herbes de provence) or fresh herbs. Wrap the aluminum foil over the vegetables.

If it’s wintertime, my veggies are often in an oven heated to 425f. Throw it on the grill with some grilled zucchini, grilled eggplant, or grilled onions for a delicious grilled vegetable feast. You can serve it with fish.
